The Chase is Brooks’ fourth studio album, originally released in September 14 1992. It debuted at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts, and has been certified diamond by the RIAA. The album features “Dixie Chicken,” a cover of the classic Little Feat song, and “Night Rider’s Lament,” a classic cowboy song that had been previously recorded by Jerry Jeff Walker and Chris LeDoux.
